Washington tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins was struck by a fan as he tried to walk off the field after the Apple Cup.

Cougcenter.com has a GIF isolating the incident during the mayhem on the field.

Washington said it will not comment on the matter. The News Tribune reached out to Washington State and the Pac-12 for comment, but is yet to receive a response.

UPDATE: Washington State says it won’t issue a statement about Seferian-Jenkins being punched, but will review safety procedures, as it does after every home game.

Seferian-Jenkins confirmed on Twitter that he was hit. In response to a questions about the incident he said, “I prayed for that man that struck me. He must have some issues.”

Seferian-Jenkins spoke to reporters after the game and did not mention the incident.

They need to throw that douche in jail and suspend him from school for a year after he gets out to think about it. I bet that little punk POS wouldn’t do spit if he were face to face with ASF!

I don’t get it. Classy comment from ASJ. Way to take the high road on his part.
