Senior cornerback Desmond Trufant has accepted an invitation to play in the prestigious 2013 Senior Bowl  on Jan. 26 in Mobile, Alabama. The game features some of the top seniors in the country, practicing for a week and then playing in front of NFL scouts and GMs from every team in the league.

Trufant has been one of the best corner backs in the Pac-12 this season. Teams rarely throw to his side, but when they do he’s been solid. He has five pass breakups and an interception. His performance against Marqise Lee of USC helped elevate his draft stock. Rob Rang of NFL Draft Scout has Trufant ranked as the sixth best cornerback among eligible draft players. He’s projected to be a late second-round pick.
