USC clarified just what a terrible start is Thursday night against Utah. The Utes went up 14-0 after various problems between Trojans quarterback Matt Barkley and center Khaled Holmes, who was playing hurt, led to two fumbles and immediate scores for Utah. But, Barkley kept it together and threw for 303 yards and three touchdowns in 38-28 win.
