Thanks to Thursday’s upset, the Huskies are back in the top 25. Washington is ranked 23rd in the Associated Press poll and is just on the outside, leading “others receiving votes,” in the USA Today coaches poll.
Washington has been ranked three times under head coach Steve Sarkisian, though never higher than 22nd. It was ranked 24th in 2009 after upsetting USC and 22nd in 2011 when it moved to 5-1.
There are six Pac-12 teams in the AP poll. Here it is:
1.Alabama (60) 2.Oregon
Arizona State received 15 votes and Arizona 5.
You can see here that two AP voters had Washington as high as 12th, and most voters did not rank the Huskies.
