Washington head coach Steve Sarkisian said Monday offensive lineman Colin Tanigawa, who would start if healthy, is out for the season.

Sarkisian did not specify Tanigawa’s injury. Tanigawa, a sophomore, started the first two games of the season, but did not play against Portland State. He was not listed on Monday’s depth chart after starting 11 games at left guard last season.

Also not listed on the new depth chart is offensive lineman Erik Kohler. That means Washington will be without three linemen against Stanford — Colin Porter, whose career ended because of shoulder problems, the other — who it expected to start heading into this season.
