Steve Sarkisian and his staff continue to grab verbal commitments from players. Last night, hard-hitting safety Connor O’Brien out of Rancho Santa Margarita High School committed to the Huskies class of 2013.

O’Brien is rated as a three-star recruit by Scout.com, a three-star recruit by Rivals.com and isn’t rated yet by ESPN.

O’Brien joins Rancho Santa Margarita teammate Dane Crane as commits to the Huskies.

While O’Brien is listed as safety, if you look at his frame and size, you can see why UW is actually projecting him as a linebacker.
