Obviously, if you are reading this, you are stuck at work because why else would you not be out enjoying this sunshine.

First of all here’s my notebook from today’s paper, talking about the assistant coaches at Washington and their transition to a new staff and new team.

Here’s some photos from the third practice on the Coach Sark blog.

Let’s go around the Pac-12 …

North Division

Oregon: De’Anthony Thomas remains humble despite being destined for stardom. Tight end Curtis White was forced to retire from football because of injuries. Oregon’s young offensive linemen are growing.

Oregon State: There is open competition at running back.

Stanford: head coach David Shaw did this video interview with ESPN’s Ted Miller.

Washington State: The Cougs have reached the halfway point of spring ball. Coug Center looks at installing Mike Leach’s Air Raid offense.

South Division

Arizona: CJ Dozier hopes that enrolling early and participating in spring football will only help him.

USC: Running back Tre Maddon is out for the season with an ACL tear

Utah: The Utes paid $500,000 to get out of their road game at Utah State in 2014 and will play Boise State instead.
