The final game of the night capped a pretty damn good day of basketball. Every game was close and entertaining. Yes, people make fun of the league. Let them. It’s overplayed. It’s like how ESPN beat the Tim Tebow and Jeremy Lin stories to death. Yes, the Pac-12 is having a down year. We get it. Your jokes are no longer creative. It’s like making jokes about Lindsay Lohan’s career. Find some new material.

As for this game, Colorado got a little redemption. The Buffaloes tanked on the road last weekend. But they came together and beat the hottest team in the Pac-12 – the Oregon Ducks. This was brutally physical game as Dick Cartmell’s crew decided to not call fouls for long stretches.

Andre Roberson’s putback with 15 seconds left proved to be the go-ahead score. Oregon had two chances to tie, but neither amounted to much. Devoe Joseph’s fallaway 3-pointer at the buzzer wasn’t even close.
