The “Woof, Woof, Woof!!!” bat-signal was just tweeted from @CoachSark springing recruiting analysts and fans into a frenzied action.

The latest Husky commit?

That would be offensive linemen Shane Brostek out of the Hawaii Preparatory Academy. Brostek is a three-star recruit according to Scout.com and a two-star recruit according to Rivals.com

At 6-3, 300 pounds, he projects to be an offensive guard.

My feeling is that any time you get an offensive linemen, it’s a good thing. And you can never have enough of them.

If the name Brostek sounds familiar, it’s because his father, Bern Brostek, played for center for UW.

Brostek would be the fourth offensive line commit for the Huskies – a position of great need.
