The Huskies have completed their second day of practice after a few days off, and coach Steve Sarkisian liked this one better than Friday’s version.

“We got into full pads and got some really valuable work in in terms of situational stuff: first down, third down, a lot of no-huddle stuff,” he said. “It was good. I thought their spirit, their energy was better than it was yesterday.”

* No. 2 quarterback Nick Montana missed practice while taking a final.

*The Huskies will practice again Sunday morning at Dempsey Indoor.
