As if this anticipated ‘X’ mark on the calendar was going to even smart of snapping Washington’s current streak of televised games.

The Big Ten Conference wasted no time in announcing a kickoff for one of its marquee non-conference tilts – the UW against Nebraska, set for Sept. 17 at 12:30 p.m. PDT (ABC-TV/ESPN).

Set in Memorial Stadium in Lincoln, Neb., this will be the third matchup between the two teams in one year – but likely the first with both teams ranked in the top 25.

The UW has a 50-game streak of games being televised live.

This one is the third already with a set kickoff time, joining Stanford (Oct. 22 at 5:30 p.m.) and Southern California (Nov. 12 at 12:30 p.m.).
