Washington’s loss last night at Washington State cos the Huskies only minor slippage in the polls released today … perhaps because some voters sent in their ballots before the game was played.

In any case, UW falls only from 18 to 20 in the Associated Press media poll, and from 17 to 19 in the ESPN/USA Today coaches poll.

But now right behind the Huskies is Pac-10 co-leader Arizona, which is No. 21 in the AP poll. (The Wildcats are ranked 22 by the coaches.)

Washington State picked up a single vote in the AP poll.

Here’s a full look at both polls.
