Various reports, most notably from Scout.com and the Louisville Courier Journal, are reporting that five-star forward Terrence Jones of Portland has signed a financial aid agreement with Kentucky.
Jones, of course, had given his oral commitment to Washington at an announcement event April 30 in Portland, but seemed to have instant doubts and never signed his letter of intent, making the commitment binding.
And if tonight’s reports are correct, he still hasn’t. Technically, signing a financial aid agreement keeps even this decision fluid. But it’s hard to imaging coach Lorenzo Romar is going to be part of this circus much longer. Especially with a still rock-solid incoming class of 6-5 guard Terrence Ross, 6-7 forward Desmond Simmons, and 7-foot center Aziz N’Diaye.
