Nationally ranked basketball recruits Terrence Jones and Terrence Ross will make their college choices known at 3:30 this afternoon during a news conference at Jefferson High School in Portland.
Both have listed Washington among their top choices.
Several Internet reports list Ross as solid for UW, while Jones also is said to be considering Arizona, Kansas, Kentucky, Oklahoma, Oregon and UCLA.
Jones is a 6-foot-9 forward rated among the top 10 recruits in the country, and Ross is a 6-5 guard rated among the top 50.
Washington already has announced 6-7 forward Desmond Simmons and 7-foot center Aziz N’Diaye in its incoming class for next season. However, the Huskies still have two scholarships spots open due to the recent transfers of Elston Turner and Clarence Trent.
Jones and Ross’ decisions will be posted on this blog as they are annoucned.
Some pundits out there say that getting both of them would make the Huskies legit champion contenders. For that reason I can’t wait to hear it.
