Injured player’s surgery ‘went well’

ESPN’s Andy Katz is passing along reports from Texas A&M that surgery went well last night for senior Derrick Roland, who broke two bones in his right leg last night in the Aggies loss at UW.

“It went well and he is doing well,” A&M coach Mark Turgeon said in a text message, adding: “Tough kid.”
