The Los Angeles Times is reporting that the mother of Jrue Holiday — the nation’s No. 2 prep basketball prospect — says her son has narrowed his choice down to either joinging the reassembling dynasty at UCLA or playing alongside his brother at Washington.
Holiday, a 6-foot-4 junior guard at North Hollywood Campbell Hall, is rated as the nation’s No. 2 prep hoops prospect by at least one recruiting service. He is scheduled take an unofficial visit to UW on June 10. Holiday’s brother, Justin, signed with the Huskies last November and will be a freshman in the coming season.
Jrue hasn’t yet taken a UCLA visit, but him mom says one will be arranged.
The paper said Holiday is expected to announce his decision this summer.
