Coach Tyrone Willingham said he was pleased enough with the inaugual Husky Walk into the stadium Saturday that he plans to repeat it before the UW-Stanford game and beyond.

“It was wonderful,” he said. “I thought that was really one of the bright spots of our day. Hopefully it will be one of the bright spots of our program in the future, to add another touch of connection with our fans, but also another sense of tradition and pride that we have as a football program that we want to share with our fans.”

The Husky football team was driven by bus into the southeast parking lot and marched into the southeast corner of the stadium from there.
