For the fourth straight year, media covering the Pacific-10 Conference have picked the USC Trojans to win the league football title. However, unlike the past two seasons, it wasn’t unanimous. Or even close to unanimous.

This time around, four Pac-10 schools received first-place votes: USC, Cal, Oregon and Arizona State.

The writers showed low expectations for the state of Washington, picking the Cougars eighth and the Huskies dead last.

Here are the results:

1. Southern California (18) 276

2. California (7) 247

3. Oregon (3) 229

4. Arizona State (1) 204

5. UCLA 145

6. Arizona 133

7. Oregon State 125

8. Washington State 96

9. Stanford 90

10. Washington 50
