ALL CLEAR: Multi-car pileup in Puyallup blocks traffic, injures 7

A 6-car pileup on state Route 512 in Puyallup is blocking traffic and has injured seven people, according to the Washington State Patrol.

The pileup includes a 3-car crash and at least 2-car collisions, Trooper Guy Gill tweeted.

The collisions occurred about 3 p.m. on eastbound SR 512 near Pioneer and 104th.

None of the reported injuries are serious, authorities said.

Central Pierce Fire & Rescue and WSP are on scene. Five tow trucks are en route.

ALL CLEAR: Jack-knifed semi blocks ramp to SR 512 in Puyallup

The ramp from Meridian to state Route 512 in Puyallup is blocked this morning because of a jack-knifed semi truck and trailer.

Troopers, transportation crews and a tow truck are on the scene.

The ramp from Meridian/SR 161  is blocked for the removal of a jack-knifed semi.

Drivers headed east on SR 512 and on Meridian should expect delays.

UPDATE: The semi-truck has been removed from the scene and the ramp reopened to traffic.

UPDATED: Milroy Bridge over Puyallup River closed Tuesday, May 31

The Milroy Bridge over the Puyallup River will be closed from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 31, for a structural inspection.

The state Department of Transportation and Pierce County Public Works and Utilities inspect the steel truss bridge every other year to ensure it is safe for the 11,000 vehicles that use it daily.

During the closure, crews will also finish concrete deck repairs.

The bridge was built in 1931 and connects state Route 167/River Road East with North Levee Road East at 66th Avenue East.

UPDATED: Crash slows traffic on River Road near Puyallup

UPDATE: All lanes cleared

Northbound State route 167 (River Road) near Gratzer Road near Puyallup remains blocked due to a car vs. pole collision.

Northbound traffic is getting through the area using the center turn lane.

The Washington State Patrol and Washington State Department of Transportation Incident Response is on scene. Power company and a tow are en route. Motorists can expect delays.
