Pavement repair work scheduled tonight through tomorrow morning on the eastbound Tacoma Narrows bridge has been canceled because of a wet weather forecast.

The pavement work is still scheduled from 9 p.m. Thursday through 5 a.m. Friday.

During that time, crews will reduce eastbound State Route 16 to one lane across the bridge.

Tonight’s work will be rescheduled for a dry night, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
