Hydraulic fluid spilled on Puyallup freeway causes spinouts

rampA truck dumped an unknown amount of hydraulic fluid on the ramp from southbound state Route 167 to state Route 512 in Puyallup this morning, causing multiple spinouts.

State troopers discovered the liquid about 7 a.m. State Department of Transportation crews spread sand on the roadway. It reopened about 7:30 p.m.

No one was injured in the spinouts, trooper Guy Gill said.

  1. Wonder if it was the garbage truck that spilled hydraulic fluid at all his stops in West Tacoma on Monday…?
