9:30 a.m. update: All lanes of state Route 162 have reopened.

Earlier post: An overnight crash blocked state Route 162 at South Prairie Creek for more than two hours.

The incident occurred around 3 a.m., and the highway was closed till 5 a.m. as the Washington State Patrol and emergency crews responded.

The Department of Transportation says traffic is now alternating through one lane at the scene. Puget Sound Energy crews are on site, repairing a power pole damaged in the crash.

We will update this post when more information is available.
