Crews will close a section of eastbound state Route 16 in Tacoma late Thursday to continue work on the Nalley Valley project, according to the state Department of Transportation.
The closure will take place at 11 p.m. at Union Avenue. It also includes the on-ramp from Union Avenue to eastbound SR 16. Lanes are expected to reopen by 4 a.m. Friday.
The Nalley Valley project is replacing the existing eastbound SR 16 structure that spans Nalley Valley. It will also finish the SR16 and Sprague Avenue interchange.
