A 6-car pileup on state Route 512 in Puyallup is blocking traffic and has injured seven people, according to the Washington State Patrol.

The pileup includes a 3-car crash and at least 2-car collisions, Trooper Guy Gill tweeted.

The collisions occurred about 3 p.m. on eastbound SR 512 near Pioneer and 104th.

None of the reported injuries are serious, authorities said.

Central Pierce Fire & Rescue and WSP are on scene. Five tow trucks are en route.

thats why they call it Pile’Up Washington

Whats with you people out there that follow so damn close? You don’t follow a vehicle that’s traveling 65 mph within 3 feet of their bumper.
The State of Washington and the Fed’s spend millions on drunk driving campaigns and seat belt slogans like “click it or ticket” but I never see
or hear anything about people following too close. Some of you drivers out there on the freeway remind me of a bunch of wandering cattle. Pay attention people! Keep your distance! Mooooooooooooooo…get off my ass!

Northwestrealtor – I remember back in the Stone Age when I was learning to drive, we were all taught “1 car length distance” for every 10 miles of speed. Of course, try and do that nowadays – four idiots cut in to fill the gap. Apparently, they’re all in a hurry to meet their maker – some earlier than need be.

  4. Cars are humankind’s best friend.
Can I interest you in a bridge in New York?

  5. barrack1 says:

I moved up here from Los Angeles California. This nothing, Collisions like this happen everyday in LA, down there drivers will intentionally force their way into your lane and cut you off and cause an accident and the will also tailgate you. Drivers seem to think they own the freeways down there. Southern California has the worst and the most rudest drivers in America besides New York.

  6. PTGranny says:

Seems there’s also something in the rules of the road about the speed you drive according to road conditions…standing water, etc. Helloooooooooooo, it has been raining!!!

  7. And the weariness in the cops and firefighters eyes….
