Crews will be closing part of Snoqualmie Pass at midnight to remove snow from the roadway, according to the state Department of Transportation.

The closure is on westbound Interstate 90 at milepost 52.

Snow must be moved from the right shoulder to the left shoulder embankment.

The road should reopen about 2 a.m., WSDOT reports.
