Interstate 90 over Snoqualmie Pass will be closed at 12:30 p.m. today for avalanche control.
Eastbound traffic will be stopped near Gold Creek (milepost 56), and westbound traffic will be stopped near Price Creek (milepost 56), the Washington State Department of Transportation says.
The Transportation Department says it won’t be able to estimate when the pass will reopen until it sees how much snow the avalanche control brings down.
