Drivers could experience some delays along Schuster Parkway on Saturday as crews work to remove a potentially hazardous tree.
The work begins at 10 a.m.
The City of Tacoma reports that northbound and southbound traffic will be stopped for up to a half-hour for the tree removal work. In addition, crews may need to block one southbound lane until 12:30 p.m. to clean up the debris, the city reports.
Northbound drivers will be stopped at South Fourth Street. Southbound drivers will be stopped along North 30th Street at Starr Street. Southbound drivers along Schuster Parkway will be halted at McCarver Street.
Signs will be in place to notify drivers of the changes.
