Roads are icy this morning. Just ask one WSP trooper

The roads are slick this morning in the Puget Sound area.

Just ask a 28-year-old Washington State Patrol trooper.

The trooper lost control of his patrol cruiser just before 3 a.m. when it hit a patch of black ice covering Interstate 90 just east of High Point.

The patrol car went off the road and rolled over into the embankment.

The trooper was not injured.

Was the the trooper checked for alcohol and drugs like every one else?. Was he cited like other drivers? I think not!
