A collision near the Tacoma Dome is causing traffic backups, according to the state Department of Transportation.
The accident occurred about 6 p.m. on northbound Interstate 705 near S. 9th and A streets.
The right lanes are blocked, WSDOT reports.
A crash is blocking two lanes of northbound Interstate 5 in Federal Way, the state DOT reports this morning.
The left and HOV lanes at South 320th Street are blocked by the crash. The crash was reported shortly after 7 a.m.
Paramedics, firefighters and DOT crews are on the scene.
8:10 a.m. UPDATE: The left lane is no longer blocked. The crash still blocks the HOV lane.
8:20 a.m. UPDATE: The crash has been cleared and all lanes reopened, DOT reports.
