Traffic is backing up on Interstate 5 through Lakewood because of a crash this morning.

The left lane of southbound I-5 at Thorne Lane is completely blocked while the left lane of northbound I-5 is partially blocked, the state DOT reports. Southbound drivers are backed up for a mile.

The crash involved a light pole.

Drivers should expect delays.
