Drivers using 66th Avenue East in Pierce County should expect delays for several hours Saturday.

Road crews will close the northbound lane of 66th Avenue East in the 4900 block to perform maintenance and landscaping work, Pierce County reports. The work zone is just south of the intersection of 66th Avenue and State Route 167  in the Puyallup area.

Traffic will be impacted from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Flaggers will be posted to help drivers through the work zone.

Drivers are encouraged to find alternate routes.
