The State Patrol says the grace period for overweight vehicles crossing the aging Puyallup Bridge has concluded and drivers not following the new law will be ticketed.

Signs were installed last week along state Route 167 reminding drivers that vehicles over 10,000 gross weight are restricted to the right lane while crossing the bridge.

The 86-year-old bride is deteriorating and officials are trying to reduce the amount of stress to the bridge deck to preserve its durability.

now the semis are pulling over to the right lane after driving down the inside lane and passing everybody and every body has to stop to let them in,the state needs to put a huge semis right lane only, and a $10,000 dollar fine for any body who violates the law……..

  2. “The 86-year-old bride is deteriorating…” How rude to comment on the bride’s state of deterioration.

    BTW, how’s the b-r-i-d-g-e doing?

  3. LivingInAZ says:

I like the “bride” crack. It’s amazing the old broad can do it at her age.

  4. Give that bride some Viagra. No, wait, that’s for the groom. How old is he? Maybe he’s deteriorating also.

This is making my head spin. Let’s go back to the bridge, and leave the bride alone.
