The WSDOT said a fire department truck blocked the right lane after responding to a collision that happened around 6:40 a.m. on westbound State Route 512 at Steele Street Friday.

7:11 A.M UPDATE: State Patrol, fire and a DOT’s Incident Response Team are on scene. Traffic is backed up approximately five miles to Canyon Road. Drivers should expect delays through the area.

7:21 A.M UPDATE: All lanes open on WB SR 512 at Steele St. Backups are about 5 miles but are slowly dissipating.

Earlier collisions on WB SR 512 near SR 7 also created visual distractions for drivers on SR 512.
