Road and drain work related to the new Baker Middle School project at 8320 S. I St. will affect traffic for the next few weeks.

All lanes on 84th Street in both directions, including the sidewalk, will be closed between Yakima and Sheridan avenues on Oct. 11 and 12. The detour will lead traffic to 72nd Street.

One lane will be closed each way Oct. 13-15 and into the following week. Road work hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. School buses may be rerouted.
