More al fresco dining: Barrel No. 51, the barbecue truck, is back

This pulled pork sandwich from Barrel No. 51 is quite the porky, saucy mess.

The next few days, I’m going to write about restaurants with outdoor dining to enjoy our stretch of warm weather  – because who knows when it will just poof, leaving us with soggy socks under our sandals (I’ve seen waaaaay too much of that bad fashion lately). For months, a few TNT Diner readers and I have been bugging reps from Burgerville, a Vancouver-based company, to bring the Nomad truck, or better yet, a Burgerville restaurant, to Tacoma. The Nomad was supposed to be here in March, but the stop was canceled. The closest Burgerville to Tacoma is in Centralia.

You may remember, former
