First bite: Little European Cafe in Tacoma

For years, I’ve written about the piroshky, hearty breads and delicious cakes of Friendly Foods, an Eastern European grocery store near the corner of South Union Avenue and Center Street in Tacoma. The South Sound restaurant scene has the market cornered on teriyaki and Thai and it seems you can’t turn in a circle without finding a new Vietnamese restaurant.
