Breakfast restaurant Netshed No. 9 coming to Gig Harbor waterfront in March

Gig Harbor diners, you’re about to get a new waterfront breakfast destination – brought to you by the owners of Gig Harbor’s Brix 25.

Expect a March opening for Netshed  No. 9 at 3313 Harborview Drive.

Husband-wife team Thad Lyman and Katie Doherty – Northwest natives who bought Brix 25 four years ago after operating restaurants in Napa Valley – plan an all-day breakfast menu that includes skillet-baked cinnamon rolls, scratch-made English muffins, chicken and waffles, sourdough pancakes and what Doherty described as “true” crispy hash browns. Brix 25 and 7 Seas team up to create sudsy dinner, new winter brew festival announced

Thad Lyman’s prowess with cooking meat is legendary. Mike Runion’s skill with hops is equally legendary. Together they make a mighty fine super brewhero team. Lyman, owner/chef of Brix 25, and Runion, owner/brewer of 7 Seas Brewing, will combine their superpowers the day after Thanksgiving for their third annual beer pairing dinner. Let there be light: Gig Harbor’s Brix 25 restaurant gets a lightened up dining room makeover

When Thad Lyman and Katie Doherty became the third owners of Gig Harbor restaurant Brix 25 in 2009, they inherited both the good and the bad. On the good list? Devoted customers, accolades and awards for the destination restaurant regionally known for its Northwest centric wine list. The bad? A lovely, but much too dark dining room. While some may have called the dining room “romantically lit,” others might have complained that they needed a mini flashlight to read the menu. Read more »
