Chef William Mueller of Babblin’ Babs Bistro, a breakfast and lunch cafe in the Proctor District, just debuted a menu that incorporates the things we love about spring – fresh peas and light flavors like lemon, guava and arugula. Tacoma’s Proctor neighborhood sees a flurry of change. New owners at the Rosewood and The Old House, Jubilee closes, and Babblin’ Babs goes Parisian


Good news: The Rosewood Cafe may have sold, but the chocolate pot du creme stays at the Rosewood Cafe in Proctor.

Restaurants in Proctor are changing hands, moving out or tweaking their concepts. Two established Proctor restaurants – The Old House and The Rosewood Cafe – have new owners this week, Babblin’ Babs plans to open a Parisian themed bistro in its back room and Jubilee Cupcakes leaves Proctor.
