In this 2005 photo, brothers Steve Naccarato, middle, and Gordon Naccarato, right, are pictured with Matt Colony. Colony formerly worked with the brothers at their restaurant, The Beach House at Purdy.. Now he'll be executive chef of Smoke + Cedar.

7/27/05 / GOEATS SLUG: BEACHHOUSE Standing on Martini Beach at The Beach House at Purdy overlooking Henderson Bay, (photo I.D. left to right) Matt Colony kitchen chef at the Beach House, owners/manager Steve Naccarato and executive chef Gordon Naccarato. Matt has just been named the new executive chef at the new Pacific Grill in downtown Tacoma also owned by the Naccarato brothers. In the foreground is a Grilled Rib Eye Steak, a 12 oz. grilled rib eye grilled tuscan-style with sauteed cherry tomatoes, arugula, shaved fennel, grana, lemon, black olive oil & crisp red onions $28,50 . On the table in the left background is lucques olives, a variety of marinated olives & marcona almonds $4.00. The wine is 2002 Hurricane Ridge Merlot from Washington.
