BREW FESTIVAL IN FEBRUARY

In other very important local brew news, the Tacoma Craft Brew Festival has spawned a sibling event. The Big Beer Festival is scheduled for Feb. 16. The festival will be at the Foss Waterway Seaport, 705 Dock St., Tacoma (NOTE: This is a different location than previously announced, the venue location changed). Festival organizers describe the event as a day-long festival with two sessions. Beers from about 20 craft brewers will be served. The event will raise money for YWCA Pierce County and is for those 21 and older only. Tickets go on sale Dec. 1, $20 presale and $25 at the door.
