I asked readers in this article about where to find the best Philly cheesesteak sandwiches around town. Here are a few of my favorite reader responses.

From reader Tanya: “Paul Anderson at Ricky Js restaurant and lounge in Puyallup, WA makes the best Philly steak sandwich. Its awesome, cheesy and mouthwatering. You can find Ricky Js on 176th street between Canyon and Meridian roads.”

From reader Zeb: “Sue! Best kept secret In South Tacoma – the Tee Line grill at Tacoma Firs golf center. Great Phillies – super sandwiches and amazing burgers.”

From reader Dave: “If you’re willing to drive to Federal Way then perhaps you’re willing to run down to Lacey/Oly/Tumwater. Try Meconi’s for their cheesesteaks, they started way back in the 80’s in Lacey, and are one of the best I have found in the area. Not sure if they offer it “wit” as I don’t like cheezewiz and always go for the classic provolone on my cheesesteak.”

From reader Steve: “Try Noah’s Restaurant in Bremerton, WA. The best.”

From an anonymous phone tip: “Try Louie G’s in Fife. It’s a good cheesesteak.”

Reader Mark suggested I look into Philly cheesesteak omelets. He recommended the Philly omelets at Carrs and Gertie’s Grill.
