Good eats and drinks around Tacoma, Pierce County and South Puget Sound

Finally, summer. At least on the dinner menu at Pacific Grill

In true Northwest fashion, our spring was really, really rainy (no way, really??). That’s why I’ve been looking more than ever for summer flavors on local restaurant tables. Something, anything to drive away the gray gloom, right?

Here’s what I was looking for – the lightened up summer menu at Pacific Grill. I liked the looks of a fried chicken dinner with smoked sweet potato salad, a summer hanger steak salad with a lime-ginger vinaigrette and pork chile verde. Take a look at the new menus that Pacific Grill just started serving.

Tip: Pacific Grill has one of the most economically priced and longest running happy hours in town. For the foreseeable future, Pacific Grill has a half-price bar menu during all operating hours. To check out the new happy hour menu (only available in the bar), go to Pacific Grill’s website here.
