When was the last time you got breakfast for a buck? Get yourself down to Marcia’s Silver Spoon Saturday morning for the eighth annual Lucky Silver’s Cruise-In car show and you can get a super bargain at one of Tacoma’s best diners.

Lucky Silver Cruise-In Car Show and Cheap Breakfast from Marcia’s Silver Spoon
When: Registration starts at noon Saturday, May 12, 2012. Breakfast starts at 8.
Where: Lucky Silver and Marcia’s Silver Spoon, 2601 South Tacoma Way
Judging: Car judging begins at 1 p.m. Trophies at 5 p.m.
Registration: $20
Categories: Sponsor’s choice, people’s choice and best in show for Chevy, Ford, BOP ( Buick/Olds/Pontiac) Orphan, Import, Custom and Rat Rod. Pre-1982 cars are eligible for prizes and trophies.
Entertainment: The Fabulous Murphtones will play outside starting at noon.
Eats: The Lucky Silver is offering food specials including their tacos, hot dogs, and half-pound charbroiled hamburgers, drink specials all day.
Breakfast before the show: Marcia’s Silver Spoon is serving the following items at a walk-up kitchen starting at 8 a.m. for $1 (including tax): Homemade corned beef hash, biscuits and sausage gravy, ham and cheddar scrambles, Belgian waffles, bacon breakfast sandwiches. Add strawberries and whipped cream to a waffle for $1. Coffee, hot chocolate, bottled water, and strawberry smoothies also are $1.
Inside Marcia’s: Full breakfast and lunch menus available inside all day long at normal menu prices.
