Skipping the ham and scalloped potatoes from your kitchen? Next Sunday, April 8 is Easter and readers already are calling, saying they don’t want to cook this year and would I please write a story about where to dine out? Per reader request, here’s a working list of restaurants with Easter dining. Some offer sit-down service, some are buffet meals. Don’t see your favorite restaurant listed? Ask and we’ll check it out. The menu: Prime rib with rosemary au jus, a salad selection with field greens, pasta salads and a selection of entrees that includes eggs Benedict, white cheddar scrambled eggs, Carlton Farms ham, applewood smoked bacon, home fries. Also, bottomless champagne, mimosas and non alcoholic beverages.
Cost: $32 for adults, $16 for children ages 5-11 and $8 for children under 5.

The menu: Two-egg breakfast with a choice of bacon or kielbasa, pecan French toast, New York steak omelet with mushrooms, chicken fried pork and huevos ranchero wrap.

Lady Luck Cowgirl Up

The meal: A buffet served from noon-6 p.m.
