It’s getting late to book a table for Valentine’s Day dinner, but there still are restaurants with openings as of today. At this late stage, you may have to settle for a 4 p.m. or 9 p.m. reservation, or you could shoot for dining out this weekend or next. Some restaurants will have Valentine’s dinner specials through this weekend, some will have dinner deals on Valentine’s Day only. Read on.

TACOMA
Adriatic Grill near the Tacoma Mall is serving from its regular menu, but also has a special dinner planned for Valentine’s evening dining (price is not yet set). Chef Bill Trudnowski will prepare a guy and gal meal – a prime New York strip steak with roasted rosemary potaotes for the guys, and a Kobe sirloin and creamy mushroom polenta for the gals. Amaretto chocolate mousse and heart-shaped truffles are for dessert. Warning: As of today, the reservations are extremely limited, before 4:30 p.m. or after 9 p.m. only were available. Contact the restaurant here.

Babblin’ Babs in Proctor will have a four-course Irish themed dinner for $65 per person on Valentine’s Day. Contact the restaurant here. Picture of the menu here.

Bite Restaurant at Hotel Murano has a dinner deal for two every evening now through Valentine’s Day. For $85 per couple, diners can select from a choice of an appetizer, a shared salad, an entree (filet mignon, lamb chops, grilled halibut and more), as well as dessert. C.I. Shenanigans on Ruston Way has a special menu from this weekend through Valentine’s Day – a New York strip dinner ($41.95), a filet mignon dinner ($29.95) and a Coho salmon dinner ($24.95) – all dinners include champagne, soup or salad and dessert. Joeseppi’s in Tacoma will have a sweetheart dinner for two for $39.99. Dinner comes with a choice of appetizer, entree (ribeye, pork chops, stuffed salmon or chicken saltimbocca), soup or salad and dessert. Check the menu here. Contact the restaurant here.

Pacific Grill in downtown Tacoma has something really unusual and fun – an appetizer bar and a show at the Pacific Grill Events Center (note: the venue changed) with Chris Anderson and Karen Motherway. The show is $35 (with a cash bar), or purchase tickets for the show and an appetizer buffet for $60. For tickets to the show, click here. The restaurant also will serve a pre-Valentine’s Day and Valentine’s Day dinner in the restaurant, click here for details. Update: Reservations are booked up until around 9:30 or after for Valentine’s Day, but there are openings left for Feb. 13 (the same menu will be offered that night).

Pomodoro in Proctor will serve its regular menu, but also will have a special seafood linguini on the menu. They’ll also offer champagne splits. Contact the restaurant here.

Stanley and Seafort’s in Tacoma will offer its regular menu, but also will have a dinner deal for two this weekend through Valentine’s Day.
