Here are five beer events over the next 10 days: South Sound brewers pour at Seattle’s Belgian beer festival tomorrow, the RAM hosts a brewer’s dinner, Morso Wine Bar invites Doug Tiede from Engine House No. 9 to talk about British beers, The Spar hosts Deschutes Brewery and 99 Bottles, the beer store, has a tasting with chocolate and brew.
Tacoma breweries pour at Belgianfest
When: Two sessions Saturday Feb. 4, 2012. First session is noon-4 p.m. Second session is 5:30-9:30 p.m.

Wingman Brewers and Engine House No. 9 from Tacoma, 7 Seas Brewing from Gig Harbor, and other South Sound brewers will pour at Belgianfest, a beer festival featuring the brewing style of Belgium beers (Tripels, Dubbles, Saisons, Wits, Abbeys and Lambics). I’m most looking forward to Wingman’s Black Widow, the Belgian strong ale I wrote about a few months ago. The beer is a collaboration between Tacoma’s 21 Cellars and Wingman. Wingman aged the ale in the winery’s Pont21 Cab-Sav barrels.
Morso’s beer classes begin Saturday

The Gig Harbor wine bar is hosting a four-part beer series. The first class tomorrow, Feb. 4, will feature Doug Tiede, brewer for Engine House No. 9. Participants will sample 10 beers and learn about different British brewing styles.

The Spar hosts Deschutes Brewery

The Ram Brewery has a beer pairing dinner
