I’ve been tracking New Year’s Eve parties at local restaurants and bars, and you’re in luck if you waited until the last minute to plan your evening of saying goodbye to 2011. Plenty of restaurants are serving special dinners, some with live entertainment. A few lounges even have free shows.  If you have a restaurant you want added to the list, just email me at I’ll update the list through tomorrow.

The Bite Restaurant at Hotel Murano will have a special menu from 5 p.m.-11 p.m. with prime rib, wild salmon and grilled tofu. Find the menu here. If you need a place to sleep off the food coma, they have a room package for $229 that includes parking, a champagne toast a three-course dinner in the Bite restaurant and a voucher for breakfast. Book at or by calling 877-986-8083.

Pacific Grill’s New Year’s Eve with Chris Anderson is sold out, but you still can eat dinner at the restaurant. Call 253-627-3535 or click here.

The Office on Pacific sports bar was advertising table reservations and champagne, with a FREE cover. They’ll have DJ JesseBomb. Read more about it on their Facebook page.

The Harmon Brewery will have a FREE New Year’s Eve party with live music from Rich Wetzel and his Groovin’ Higher Jazz Orchestra. They’ll also have complimentary champagne. More details here.

The Red Hot, my favorite place in town for a craft brew and a stellar dog, is advertising one of the funniest non New Year’s Eve parties. Read this from their Facebook page: “NYE@TRH: Sat 12/31: no party favors or dubstep dj’s, and no watery sparkling wine…but we’re tapping a keg of Black Raven Wisdom Seeker IIPA, and having a Duvel toast at midnight. Kitchen open to 1130, and we stay open to 1am. Thanks to all our pals for another year!” Find the restaurant’s Facebook page here, and website here.

Primo Grill was advertising this menu for New Year’s Eve: Grilled breast of duck with fig gastrique and root vegetable gratin, seared Willapa Bay oysters with lemon thyme brown butter and grilled Ahi tuna with vintage port sauce and braised spinach. The restaurant also advertised Scharffenberger Brut by the bottle and blood orange cosmopolitan cocktails. Find Primo’s Facebook page here, or their website here.

Asado Cucina Argentina will serve a regular menu, but also will have a special menu that includes chateaubriand for two carved tableside for $89. They also have a phenomenal list of sparkling wines. See the New Year’s Eve menu here. Reach the restaurant here.

Masa will have a DJ party with a $20 cover for men, $15 for women. More details here.

Jazzbones will have live music with Perry Acker, Ben Union and Dexology. Cover is $15-$25. Details here.
