It’s been a long wait for the suds, but Wingman Brewers is about to go live with its first public tapping. The niche Tacoma brewery that received its licensing in late February will have a release party at 6 p.m. April 21 at the Red Hot, a place that I love for craft brews and stellar dogs. On tap at the party will be the brewery’s Ace IPA and P-51 Porter. In case you missed my story about Wingman in January, here’s a handy dandy link.

I’d wager that the Red Hot’s Hilltop Strangler Dog, an all beef dog nestled into a bun with a slice of chewy, smoky bacon, smeared with Thousand Island dressing, mustard and nacho cheese and topped with chopped onions and sliced tomatoes, would be a dream pairing with the Wingman porter. Give it a try.

Wingman Brewers Release Party
When: 6 p.m. April 21

More on Wingman Brewers:
