Free tacos at Taco Del Mar, free cupcakes at Cinnabon and free coffee at Starbucks if you bring in a reusable mug.

UPDATE: Just saw this on Varsity Grill’s twitter feed: “@varsitygrill Tax Day Special: Buy one burger, get the second half off! Or…ease that tax pain with a few beers…only $2 from 3-6pm today.”

And I just saw this on Celebrity Cake Studio’s Facebook page: “Celebrity Cake Studio Happy Sweet Tax Day Everyone! Come in to our Tacoma store and enjoy a free slice of cake of your choice. What better way to sweeten the tax bite of our favorite fans!”

It’s not free, but Toscanos Cafe & Wine Bar in Puyallup offers this deal: “Tax season is a difficult time. Toscanos attempts to relieve some of the IRS stress by offering three premium Napa wines at prices a CPA would love. Our Tax Relief Week (runs) through Saturday April 17th. A wine flight featuring Provenance Sauvignon Blanc,Sterling Three Palms Merlot and Cliff Lede Stags Leap Cabernet is being offered for only $13.95 for three 3 oz. pours. These wines are also being sold by the glass and bottle at pricing nearly half of what they would be on our
Captain’s List. Also featured during Tax Relief Week is a special appetizer. Manzo Ricco, tender braised beef slowly roasted with garlic, rosemary, mushrooms and wine, is offered at $6.95.”

IHOP has free dinner for kids today, and every day in April. Details here.

A big drive to Bellevue, but the lettuce wraps are worth it. P.F. Chang’s offers diners a 15 percent discount today. Also quite the drive to Bellevue and Seattle, but the seafood chain McCormick & Schmick’s offers $10.40 deals in the bar.
