Another helping of waffles and French toast

Chef William Mueller of Babblin’ Babs Bistro in Proctor has French toast and waffles on the menu now. He saw my blog post from a few days ago and sent me an e-mail describing what he’s cooking for breakfast this week (he changes the menu frequently, so they won’t last long). The descriptions are Mueller’s:

Where Sho Gun Meets Machine Gun French toast: “Freshly baked La Brea French bread stuffed with rich fresh ricotta cheese, preserved lemons, and studded with Oregon Marionberries. Bathed in custard with Chinese Five Spice, grilled to perfection, then Tommy Gunned with organic marionberry syrup, and drizzled with cinnamon syrup.”

Sweet Waves of Hawaii Waffle: “Fresh coconut waffle cooked on great grandpa‚Äôs iron, then served with banana, spiced pineapple, and drizzled with chocolate rum sauce. Then made complete with fresh elderflower whipped cream and passion fruit sorbet.”
